Strong woman. This is why I'm essentially scared to say "shut up" and 99% of the time pretend not to hear anything. When I have said something like "I don't talk to strangers" I get rape threats.

So true. I often pretend I just got a phone call. If a man demands my attention, then I usually smile/giggle, sometimes say thank you, and then get away as quickly as possible without angering him. I don't think any woman is weak for doing this.

I do try very hard not to smile/giggle but yes, of course no victim blaming!

Twitter! I just shouted loudly "fuck you for saying this in public, fuck off" to a cat caller outside Bedford Way (my work). It was amazing. Confidence to do it provided by you all and of course the fact I know everybody inside my dept (esp Maria the security guard) has my back.
