Oh, haha. CogSci Soc's Twitter account unfollowed me after following me for a couple years. Laughed out loud.

This is after I helped to organise a workshop on women and gender minorities in cognitive computational science, too...
-
You did a great service to the field! it’s awful they did this to you

As Brad said and as I am sure you know, it's not just me.https://twitter.com/ProfData/status/1024274979762987008 …

Understandable. I am a member of my professional society but I haven't been in almost 20 years. I don't find them too useful anymore. But you're developing a good reputation in your field - keep going!
-
Not sure that is true (yet or generally) — but thank you.
-
While I'm not in cognitive psych (I need to learn much more about it), I would say your reputation is quite good.
-
Appreciated but the field is bigger than/not only what you see on Twitter.
-
I would very very strongly argue that Twitter presence has absolutely nothing to do with the field. Many followers might imply a high position in the field but usually it does not.

that's ridiculous... (that they did that). I really appreciated having a chat there!
-
As Brad said... it's actually not that surprising...https://twitter.com/ProfData/status/1024274979762987008 …

Also yes, I am so glad we got to chat a few times too! Was really nice to meet you in person!
