You believe that everyone is like you, that everyone has the same capacity to elevate themselves out of that rhetoric. That is where I disagree - I believe you are an outlier. Your intelligence & determination are admirable qualities but they also represent a type of privilege.

Intelligence can certain be a privilege in some definitions of intelligence... I mean sure. But I disagree in the general case because you are claiming something deeper here. That being a good person means being clever and that those two are a privilege. No.
