The discussion worth having here is why people want to give legitimacy to fallacious arguments and ‘debate’ the gender identities of vulnerable minorities.https://twitter.com/irisvanrooij/status/1019338557247447040?s=21 …
I don't think you have touched on something we didn't already know. I have been immersed in this for years — with help from many sources, including (thankfully for me) trans women. @laurelai_bailey for example has the patience and takes the time time to explain some basic stuff..

I am! I’m just earlier days than you :) I also have that privileged perch where I can see both sides, but that cuts both ways; I understand why people living this have a more visceral response and why I don’t, so I try not to mistake my perch for the ‘best’ position

Dude. I'm for many intents and purposes a cis woman, in STEM... I grew up in a country without a feminist movement. I'm exactly who "the female eunuch" should appeal to.
-
To call your perch privileged because you can see "both sides" is really playing into gender fascism/TERFism's hands. Stop trying to explain your position to a bunch of women. It's painful.
-
Even though explicitly you keep denying it, it's obvious you have some gaps here. And that's fine. Not stop trying to say you can see both sides. There's no two sides...
-
It's fascism vs anti-fascism pure and simple.
