-
Oh, no! Is it just down?
-
How is it now?
-
yeah weird, I switched to the new google sites and don't know what's wrong, it should all be published. sigh Time to sit down and port all content to github then I guess >:(
-
Ahhh. Good luck!
-
Ok for now I think I got it, default setting for "publish" on google sites is "so specific people can see it" which is not what I mean when I say publish / public, but hey, it fits the paywalled publication scheme in academia, ha!

Fantastic! Thanks to you and anyone else who made this happen.

Original idea for a list was Christina's!

In the adjacent/overlapping field of comp neuro I "invented" a game for boring conference talks where I counted the number of men with long hair vs women with long hair. Numbers were often about even.
-
That's... Depressing. Have you put your numbers per conference online? Thank you for the kind words BTW!

-
I haven't gone to a comp neuro specific conference in years due to health issues and so the numbers would be hard to find in old notebooks unfortunately. My husband's on his way home from one, I'll ask him what the gender ratio like.
-
Ugh. Fingers crossed it's not abysmal!

-
Now I'm wondering if he will have noticed. He's very socially progressive but it's his first small conference and his focus was feeling out job opportunities. Curious if the gender ratio will have crossed his mind. Will report back.
-
My partner notices more than I do and he's the one who got me into really picking up on this. Especially that women seem to be interrupted even more often than men for example.

Beautiful! Can people update their own details? Might be interested in doing the same for
@WomenInMICCAI (now a Google form / spreadsheet) -
I haven't written code for that because it would involve giving people accounts, I suppose? Can you think of another way? All the code is here BTW:https://github.com/oliviaguest/compcog.science …
-
And thank you!
