Hahah, I used to love this when I was a kid; my mum had a HUGE swiss cheese plant, and with every new leaf I'd get so excited to see whether it had holes or not :D :D :D

My grandmother had a one outside the entrance to her house. It was beautiful. Not in the UK obviously, these babies cannot survive outside!
My mum has a philodendron xanadu (mind is a monstera deliciosa like yours!) outside her front door too, so like a kind of tradition.
-
I wanna get a xanadu too but the house isn't finished so I'm worried my plants will suffer. Also I've underfloor heating kills so need to look into plant stands.

Queen of typos and forgotten words lol. Migraine sucks.

nice urban jungle coming together!

-
Yeah. It's going to slowly migrate to other parts of the house as I was always planning on keeping the kitchen island a little less cluttered. Sadly the house is being an utter pain and the builders have abandoned us.

-
Ugh! But the house is operational at least??
-
Mostly. There's a leaking sewage pipe in the lightwell but otherwise it's livable.
-
Well, hopefully the extra growth of the plants will help absorb any nasty sewer smells

-
Haha. The sewer rats are the most upsetting thing. Their blood is still on the floor as I'm just too swamped with work.
