I think it's complicated because even though I by no means would object to "woman" to cover me as an umbrella term I also understand how others (non-binary and/or trans and/or intersex) might not feel seen and respected under that term and that's something we need to address.

I used to feel really uncomfortable in LGBT spaces mainly cos I didn't think bi ppl (femmes?) would be welcome, so I never tried to join. In feminist spaces I wasn't super welcome cos I'm from a country without a feminist movement... Yeah, I don't really bother offline anymore.

There's definitely age as a main effect for me. I just stopped caring and left tons of online groups.
