It's possible, in certain cases, to save them. And you will learn something from trying at least even if they still die. The first step is to unpot them and cut off all the rotting parts.

Google your specific plant to find out what repotting soil it needs and what root rot looks like for them, cut off the rot as best you can, and repot them in new soil. Make sure your new soil is safe by buying new ingredients and mixing or pre-mixed obv.

Usually repotting means watering but obviously in this case do not water them for at least a few days. Check back on them often and see if they are recovering. Good luck!

Cacti are hard to repot not just because they hurt (buy leather gloves) but also because they actually need vermiculite and/or perlite and sand... so basically good drainage. They need very little watering and direct sun, usually.

How much of the roots did you cut off? Now is probably a good time tlo take leaf cuttings for when/if they die. BTW if you do repot I suggest 1/3 sand 1/3 organic matter 1/3 vermiculite and/or perlite.

Oh, nice! It's so great to have a person to do all that for you — even though I do enjoying doing it myself... haha. How did they get overwatered?

Basically if you have a person that comes once a week (or more often) you probably don't need to water them yourself! Haha.
