What worries me most about this isn't their misunderstanding in and of itself but how confused they are about how a person presently being sexually assaulted behaves. We don't Tweet about it usually. We usually are in denial, hurt, trying to solve it off social media.

If we were tweeting about it we'd tweet about it 100% not in general terms. But usually during the assault and for a few days even weeks after survivors are not tweeting or taking about it. These things are serious and need digesting.

Either way not everybody who stands in solidarity is currently being assaulted..

There is no typical way a survivor behaves and there is no reason to assume somebody standing in solidarity is a victim and not exactly supportive to ask them if they are.
