If somebody writes a blog post about work they did with two co-authors and doesn't mention them by name at all, isn't that like really quite strange borderline rude and/or a sign of some deeper issue...? Or is that just me?

Related question: Is it rude to give a talk on a research project for which you had significant help from others yet use only singular first-person? "I did this... I found that..." I was advised to swap out "we" for "I" bc "we" makes it sound like I can't do research by myself.

I find it easier to use "We" even when I've done most of the work myself. At least for me work is never in isolation, and you get influenced by so many things, so it would be odd to take sole credit.

yea, i get that. several times have had men explain to me the program i have used every day for over a decade. its a personal choice- im not going to emulate uncollaborative behavior to try to avoid bias, which is kind of inevitable.
