If somebody writes a blog post about work they did with two co-authors and doesn't mention them by name at all, isn't that like really quite strange borderline rude and/or a sign of some deeper issue...? Or is that just me?

Related question: Is it rude to give a talk on a research project for which you had significant help from others yet use only singular first-person? "I did this... I found that..." I was advised to swap out "we" for "I" bc "we" makes it sound like I can't do research by myself.

that is terrible advice imo- science is necessarily collaborative and i always see ppl give credit where credit is due in talks- no one can do everything. glad you didnt take the advice!
