If somebody writes a blog post about work they did with two co-authors and doesn't mention them by name at all, isn't that like really quite strange borderline rude and/or a sign of some deeper issue...? Or is that just me?

Blog Post? Likely, one had the room. But a tweet? Maybe they have to conserve space. It's all about, “one had how much space available what one did or didn't do with it.”

It's a pretty long post. Loads of figures lifted from the paper, no proper reference included.

Wow… I mean… I think I would have come across their names at some point in the more informal format of a blog post if it were long enough.

Only at the very end in the references but it's not exactly properly formatted (not APA style etc) . It really gives a strange impression.
