Today I spoke with a dentist. He told me my English is very good. He then asked me how long I had been in the UK for. I told him I've been here a decade. He told me he is a dentist and did a big hand gesture as if brushing his teeth. He then mentioned it had been humid in Bristol

Aside from being totally gross MFer, you realize he was trying to impress.....its called slimeball wiggleroom flirting. Its a gross middle aged man thing. Cant call it out but obvious what it is.

I refuse to think of it as attempted flirting because eww how gross but also yes, he was a middle aged man and I don't want to middle-aged-man-shame anyone but anecdotally this kind of behaviour is rarely coming from anyone else.

Thankfully she has better taste in dentists and he never said this while poking around in her mouth nor did she ever give him money!
