Dear cog psy tweeps, I’m looking for a paper on the following: the use of drawings (ie participants draw figures) to study how participants mentally represent figures (ie what details do they put in their drawings & what do they leave out). Any papers in cog psy come to mind?

There's loads of stuff like this in the literature on semantic dementia and other related disorders, but perhaps you're only interested in healthy participants?

Indeed, no clinical research question, just contemplating it as a measure in a cog psy experiment:https://twitter.com/irisvanrooij/status/1003543163175358464?s=21 …

TBF I don't think it's always 100% clinical as my PhD is on this and I definitely have never done clinical work. One might use the disorganisation to understand the system.
