I’m very interested in hearing a response from @conservancy and @o0karen0o given the organizations close association with the fsf. Bradley M. Kuhn is on the fsf board and President of @conservancy . We give them $$$$ which is going to end now.
The statements relayed in the medium post are reprehensible. There is indeed no formal relationship between FSF and Conservancy as others have said but for my part, I'm removing my only remaining formal personal connection right now - my FSF membership. We'll be following this.
It makes me sick to think about all of the amazing women who've left this movement. We're working so hard to forward software freedom and to make a welcoming place.
Can we reimagine free software ideals to serve people that have been excluded?
How can we center the interests of marginalized people in #FOSS #freeknowledge #openscience? Is it useful to think of all three together?
I've asked RMS directly with all success you would expect. 
We stop asking RMS and start defining this movement in terms of social justice. I've been thinking about this a lot the last few days. I'm happy to discuss more.

My post to the @FSF member forum earlier. It's long past time the board exercised their duty under Article VI Section 7 of the bylaws and vote him out. His behavior is doing harm to the public interest the public charity is chartered to support.

Decades of experience show he'll never learn anything about why his behavior is harmful. This is why @bkuhn_ebb_org @makoshark @gknauth @mindspillage need to step up & finally do their jobs & remove him if there's any hope left for the charity rapidly crashing into disrepute.
If they don’t do their jobs quickly they should resign from the board as they are failing at their “duty of care and duty of loyalty” to act in the best interest of the organization and not in the best interest of RMS. They work for the organization and must put the org first.

I think this is the right answer. I've removed my FSF membership based on the issues the FSF has had enforcing its Code of Conduct. And just this year, I brought up an issue where a keynote speaker violated the CoC, and have been waiting for a formal response for nearly 6 months
That's unfortunate to hear. A group of us worked hard this year to push the board to think critically about CoC enforcement around LP. Sounds like more work still needs to be done.
I know all-too-well what happens when a CoC team is not able to enforce its own policies. I'd rather not talk more about this in such a public forum, but if you'd like to contact me privately to discuss the complaint I made and the responses I've gotten, my door is open.
If you'd like my support, I'm happy to give it! But I don't want to waste your time rehashing old wounds just to have Yet Another Data Point about the shitshow.
