Our Government is taking serious action to tackle homelessness and support people in urgent need of housing this winter with a $100 million investment.https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/103619757/Government-announces-100m-plan-to-fight-homelessness …

And the beat up on national when people were housed in motels? Oh I've forgotten, it's ok for you to do it because then you get people off the street. If national do it, it's bad management.

To be fair, the calls were for National to do more than just put people into motels. Looks like Labour's being true to their word - not just applying a bandaid, but actually supplying more state houses, affordable houses & placements for those who need supported housing.

Hey, as soon as the phrase “virtue signal” is used, it’s clear the person using it is without virtue. The sale of state houses has been stopped. Properties have been bought for state housing. Kiwibuild is underway. Try to keep up. Clearly it’ll take time, but it’s happening.

State houses were only sold that was either in a region where it was not needed, in a bad state beyond repair or were it was worth so much that a number of houses could be bought with it's return. Now stop spreading false rumours.

Not true, mate. They got rid of 5000 houses while in power and had lined up 2500 more in ChCh and told the tenants they would be next. A terrible policy, glad to get back to a government that’s ready to step up to its responsibilities.

Nonsense, point me to the information. While you're there check up on the money spent on fixing up houses, new houses built in usable locations and improvements made. I've seen your history and you just repeat rumours with zero evidence. Typical lefty bot.

This is my last reply to you. The irony of the "bot" comment is extraordinary. Anyone else (perhaps with less clouded vision) can check for figures here: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/100039478/government-announces-end-to-state-home-sell-off ….pic.twitter.com/vtO9PG4S5s

@jacindaardern has not mentioned children in poverty or homelessness for 6 months while they have been self promoting ! Now budget due in 1 month the propaganda begins ? How many state houses built in 6 months? Labour disregard heating payments - now halved? #oneterm #nzpol

Wonderful news that you’re expanding the Housing First approach which has a great evidence base.
