"The Government has set ambitious goals for fighting climate change: to become carbon neutral by 2050, and have 100 per cent renewable electricity by 2035. Our focus right now is putting in place a plan to achieve this. That will involve everyone."https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/102498682/jacinda-ardern-i-lived-through-fast-economic-change-in-the-80s-we-wont-repeat-that-with-our-move-to-cleaner-energy-future …

@jacindaardern @nzlabour Can you please clarify : are you taking on “MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE” or actual CLIMATE CHANGE that has been going on forever. If the latter; you cannot control nature and you will lose #nzpol

C'mon let's be realistic . There is nothing we can do about climate change . Global warming has faded in fact they are now talking about a cooling period . Get on with producing wealth for the country instead of pandering to minorities .

Recent storms and floods are reason enough for our PM to massively increase living costs on New Zealanders in the hope that somehow that will change the climate. #leftistagenda

A shortsighted move guaranteed to take jobs off the people who vote for you and make their lives miserable with higher energy costs

Let's call it what it is - redistribution of wealth from the west to the middle men / corporations. None will reach the poor or improve their circumstances.

The hospital bill will be high with the driverless cars running people over injuring or killing them. I truly fear for my grandchildren’s future. 👎👎👎👎

I live in Scotland. Have visited New Zealand regularly since 2010. Mostly gisborne and hawkes bay. Always surprised by the lack of wind turbines. There are loads in Scotland and my experience is that the part of New Zealand I visit is windy. Useful and not unsightly
