✔️ We’ve listened to teachers, and got rid of National Standards. The Prime Minister explained why. Find out more here: http://nzlp.nz/100days pic.twitter.com/2HrwDXppey

So teacher teaching performance & child learning performance now do not exist? Another Generation of NEETS will be made just like the 150,000 produced from 2005~2009

Christ. What a load of bollocks! If I had kids, I'd be homeschooling, and using international standards of what level my kid should be at each age, and striving to have them succeeding well above it

These “union bosses” that run the PPTA and NZEI are teachers. Both unions are member-driven organisations where the executives are democratically elected teachers who robustly debate policy

The vast majority of the people who employ the teachers (parents) would be delighted to see the union towed out to sea and scuttled. You are of no benefit to us Zero, zip, nada

The most trusted jobs according to Roy Morgan research (doctors, teachers, nurses, police) are also the most heavily unionised

You're saying these jobs wouldn't be trusted if they weren't unionised That's beyond stupid

Teaching is about the kids and their futures. But again you put the teacher before the child. Heaven help the kids.
