Labour has always stood up for working NZers & this Govt will continue that work. Today we've announced a new Bill which will amend the Employment Relations Act 2000. Once it becomes law, it’ll mean greater protection for NZ workers & will help ensure fair wages & conditions.pic.twitter.com/Sk03AsC8iy

If I was a young inexperienced kiwi looking for work opportunities and maximum opportunity, I'd be furious with this bill. I'd ask you to stop hurting those you pretend to speak for.

And if you got a job where you were exploited and then sacked after 90 days, you'd be equally furious.

Exploited? How does that happen with a minimum wage approaching $20 If I was terminated I'd deserve it. Employers don't sack trained, productive staff for no reason.

Clearly you know nothing about this topic and are just confabulating. You could read some of the cases that have made it to court or talk to workers' reps before spouting.

Except that I've been an employer for 15 years which I would wager is 15 years longer than yourself. #nutjob

there are a lot of employers out there that exploit workers who employ people then sack them after 3 mths as they don't need them any more.

NZ Labour is too weak to support the most vulnerable employees in New Zealand - those who work in underperforming small businesses. Job trials of 90-days for small businesses make absolutely no economic sense, they don't encourage business independence from government or growth.
