Good on you labour, it will save the country more money in other areas if done right. Only hope it’s enough, it’s less than $$$ on roads
-
That’s exactly the way I see it too. Social investment for all.

Some folk don't believe it's a problem or that anything should be done. That'll never change.

If they are really concerned about children's welfare then give handouts in food coupons and not cash. Casino turnover would drop dramatically!!!

Instead of giving them money, tell them and/or their parents what to do and not to do to get ahead in the world. It is clear they have no idea. Otherwise it is a bottomless pit.

Very good, but where is the money to come from to pay for it?
-
The tax cuts that the National voters thought they were getting.

Wow. That's about the outstanding student debt. Are they paying up at last ???
-
Nobody forced students to study. It's a decision they make which has repercussions.
-
Don’t forget
@nzlabour introduced interest free student loans which we (P.A.Y.E. props) are paying ALL the interest on. Unsustainable. Completely unsustainable. Personal responsibility = better outcomes -
Dead right.

Throwing tax-payer money at these persistent issues is a pure sop to the socialist agenda. Expect nothing but entrenched welfarism and continued poverty of parenting, etc. Until a
@NZNationalParty government that is.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
