On this day in 1935 and in 1999, NZ voted in Labour governments, led by Michael Joseph Savage & @HelenClarkNZ respectively. Labour has always led positive change in this country & that’s what we’re continuing to do with PM @jacindaardern and the Sixth Labour-led Government!pic.twitter.com/Vw9S6MLJ67

how come all the homelessness & children living in poverty has disappeared from @jacindaardern conversation A leader who used children for emotional votes is not to be trusted.Poverty reduction was to be Arden's #1 priority but she gave 2.5 mil to Manus Island. Can u trust her.pic.twitter.com/O83DjehDrC

To get rid of child poverty, get parents into work. Don't dull them with benefits and similar burdens on the taxpayer - let them work to support their children. He who doesn't work shouldn't eat. And not requiring women to name the fathers of their kids makes child poverty worse.

The grievance industry and entitlement mentality that Labour and their leftie allies promote is suicidal for society. The idea that you can just sit on your ass doing nothing while someone else works their ass off to pay your bills is astonishingly crazy.

No but the coalition was voted for by the majority of NZ. It's a coalition government not a labour government.

How do you know who the majority of NZFirst voters wanted? They may not have wanted Labour at all.

The majority of New Zealand voters voted for the parties in the coalition. It's simple arithmetic.

No it isn't. Had Peters chosen National, an even higher majority of NZ voters would have then chosen the National/NZFirst coalition. So your logic is obviously flawed. Winston decided, not the majority of NZers.

Well. Jacinda Indian is a puppet on a string put on place and run by Helen Clark out of the UN. Any comparison to Savage belittles his name with the stain of Chardonnay Socialism and Political Correctness.
