Its true! I've never seen the Airport Bus full so why a train?
-
Because the line won't just be CBD to airport, it will have catchment throughout isthmus and southwest
-
So express bus still best option
-
For some journeys it will be. Adding light rail won't prevent Skybus from continuing to run.
-
Labour "wish" says only Queen St to Airport - where dies the extended line come from?
-
Not extension so much as catchment in between CBD and airporthttps://thespinoff.co.nz/auckland/09-08-2017/how-those-rail-lines-to-the-airport-will-actually-work/ …
-
So no express then? Not for me Laugh how council removes the cars ~ where will they go?
-
No it won't be express. I'm sure Skybus will continue to run express trips. Doesn't mean light rail line doesn't have value though.

Monorail.

Yes. Plenty of steel fabrication companies in NZ that could be involved in the project.
