Any party gets a mandate from voters to implement their campaign promises and run the country on their stated policies.

What policies were they then? National have broken practically every promise they have made.

They've kept (or sensibly updated) pretty much all of them -- and that's what grinds Little's gears.

You must be joking. National have stuffed NZ! Kids in poverty, living in cars, no housing. What promises? To look after Fletchers and co?

After 9 years of governing for the Labour party house prices went up 102% and no money was saved for the GFC they were warned about! Oops

Obviously Nat voters are doing OK but AL's comment is not about them it's about ALL New Zealanders especially those who have missed out

I don't think all Nat voters are doing well. But they are five bob torys. Would rather think they are conservative than vote for policies

Yes and that's why your party is not governing. We as many hard working NZers are happy with Nats foresight and economic growth

There was far more economic growth and good economic direction under the last Labour govt. Nats only look after their big business mates.

Facts. Also govt debt. National is running the country into the ground on borrowed money that's costing billions in interest.
