@nzkoz Looks like it's the new mDNSResponder. Maybe Console.app will tell you more about that's going on.

@lrz yeah, tried to sample the process but activity monitor hung, will have to check for logs and dtracethingy next time it happens

@nzkoz I had that problem with mDNSResponder in the past, usually re-starting the network interface fixed it. Maybe they ported the bug :)

@lrz I don't even know what this mdnsresponder thing is, bonjour discovery? Why's that killing safari's DNS requests?

@svs @nzkoz Have just loaded Yosemite onto the Mini. Now Mail won't start. Not putting it on my lappie any time soon.
