Correction: An earlier version of this column incorrectly said it had been 36 years since a man and a woman ran on a Democratic Party ticket. It has been that long since a man chose a woman to run as V.P. on the Democratic ticket. We’ve deleted a tweet that repeated the error.

Get the hook and get
@maureendowd OUT OF HERE -
She’s still a talented writer but someone needs to reject some of her most bitter off the rails columns. At times she made me feel sorry for Bush. Most of the hit jobs on Hillary fall under this. Not much she could say worse than what Trump does.

It's now accurate, but sounds even worse....Of course, in the other party, a man chose a woman 12 years ago. Unfortunately, given the millions of women from which he could choose, he did not choose well. So, it's obvi to me that men have a long history of not choosing well.
