Don't buy the pseudo-scientific rhetoric — so-called Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria is a myth created by anti-trans activistshttps://nyti.ms/2CY4xxO

Jennifer, thanx for your piece. We have to work overtime to battle transgender myths, with the same passion that we have successfully mainstreamed the horrors of conversion therapy..

Conversion therapy...like taking a gay boy, telling him he's a girl, feeding him full of hormones and then chopping his knob off?

We will look back in horror at this era, and particular shame at the gay/lesbian people and organizations that endorsed this dehumanizing, homophobic ideology.

Distinction Denier. What ur opinion lacks is distinction btw dif types of GD and honesty that this is a clinical concern. To deny this, and apply GD treatments for, say autogynephilia, to new phenomenon #ROGD 15yr old girl's gender dysphoria helps no one, least of all the teen.

This opinion piece offers little in the way of evidence. Why demonize parents for advocating watchful waiting instead of permanently damaging children's bodies with harmful drugs or irreversible, possibly fatal surgeries on healthy bodies?

Parents are supporting each other in advocating for watchful waiting, as the medical community has ignored safeguards in favor of making children into medical patients for life with experimental drugs and surgeries based on a theory about gender identity being real.
