What do they not get about the
#1StAmendment ? Particularly speech we don't like. -
All of those companies are private, none are part of the government and the 1st Amendment doesn't apply.
#AlexJones violated their terms and conditions so they have the right to take him out their websites.#AlexJones defamed a lot of people and that's what he gets. -
Well not exactly but they can throttle your data, especially if you are using another company that ATT doesn't own. Now that Net Neutrality bus gone in the federal level.
-
The same companies which want net neutrality are picking and choosing which content they want to let through. Hmmm!

I would never have thought about listening or supporting Alex Jones, until today. This won’t end well for the leftists who support his deplatforming.

The problem with Jones is that there is very little truth behind his reporting. It's all "nearly" baseless; he depends on his audience not to check. Like the crisis actor story he pushes...

same could be said for CNN and all of the "mainstream" legacy media

Alex Jones makes mistakes like everybody else but he's not intentionally misleading his viewers. That's the big difference with the

I don't recall reading in The Constitution that all protected and free speech must be honest to be spoken. With freedom of speech comes responsibility. If people lie, those they lie TO hold them accountable. Censorship of anyone is a slippery slope for everyone. And, WRONG.
-
You don’t think the press has a responsibility to report facts and news???
-
In no way did I insinuate that. I believe the press must report truth. If they do not, they should be held accountable by their audience and sponsors. FREEDOM OF SPEECH is a RIGHT.
-
The press only reports what they want you to see and read, truth doesn't have to be in those reports as long as it makes for a good story for sweeps week or generating interest.
-
I think that’s a given. I also know The Constitution still affords them freedom of speech.
