"As it turned out, I spent a lot of the show bored. 'Cursed Child' is a clunky play that could not reverse my indifference to the Potterverse."https://nyti.ms/2ILevXX

I’m sorry but this is like someone who never read or watched a Sherlock Holmes story watching a new one and complaining they don’t get the Sherlock/Watson thing.

Sad that someone belonging to PRINT media chooses to judge a story, plot and characters based on an act, which may or may not have don't justice to Rowling's books. Make an effort and read the books before blabbering like most ignorant non readers.

If you're not a fan then U already have a bias(justified or not) against it. Y would you think you'd suddenly like the story at the 8️⃣th instalment ❓🙄 if U'd been a fan who DIDNT like the play, now that's a story worth publishing. This wasnt👎👎

That’s fine, as it isn’t actually part of the Potterverse because it so blatantly bastardizes the story, laws, characters, basically everything about the books.

This person should not be writing this review. Like it or not is immaterial but you must understand the story and topic to review it. This is a worthless review. I have not seen the play

Who the hell assigned this critic to go to a play on a subject she gives less than a shit about? What did anyone expect this woman would think about it?pic.twitter.com/3nxr8uSYaQ

I don’t expect everyone to like the same thing but I would expect the reviewer to be familiar with the books- not just half of the first movie.

As successful at the Potter series has been, it's horribly written. Just total garbage that only makes sense to 8 year-olds.
