In Opinion Op-Ed columnist @DLeonhardt writes, "If kneeling is problematic because it seems unpatriotic, the NFL’s response is outrageous because it actually is unpatriotic."https://nyti.ms/2KRK3YG

I agree! Americans should have the right to kneel during the National Anthem. It's far better than what Roseanne Barr did during the anthem: https://youtu.be/SkNnWxDKxh4 pic.twitter.com/kfsJnmbgXA

NFL players now have the opportunity to do something more important than a game. Take a knee for the Constitution.

If it's not about the anthem, then why do it during the anthem? That doesn't make any sense. These spoiled brat "protesters" are not smart enough to come up with a better way to get their point across. Look what the NBA did in response to this issue.pic.twitter.com/jH1YRAWJqA

A shoe is probably symbolic to your foot, but if it pinches your toe you'll protest against the shoe or its maker. You won't continue to walk in them if it's hurts just because it's symbolic of the comfort it was intended to provide. What's your expectation of the shoe?

Maybe you should look into how the NBA is handling this issue. They stand for the anthem, but the players are still allowed to express themselves in different ways. Just bc you're not smart enough to come up with other options, doesn't mean there aren't any

Simple solution: stop playing the anthem. Nobody needs to hear the anthem prior to a domestic entertainment event.
