Trump will most likely be indicted once he is out of office or if the Democrats win overwhelmingly in the midterms trump will be impeached. Either way he is done and that is why he keeps lying and distracting with attacks on the DOJ, Hilary Clinton and President Obama.

You can still obstruct justice even if no crimes were committed. Impeding an investigation is a crime whether or not a crime was committed that the investigation was looking for.
