This is unacceptable. Someone with their license having been suspended should not EVER be hired by a school system to have people's children's lives in their hands. I am so disgusted.

This crash may expose some lesser known facts about school bus driving nowadays 1. It is often outsourced by school district. 2. The pay sucks when outsourced, hence retirees often fill the bill. 3. Outsourcers cut corners, look askance too often.

You buried the lead. The suspensions were for unpaid parking tickets and administrative issues. He had no active points on his License. The real issue is; Why is a 77 year old driving a bus full of kids? Plus he was making an illegal U-Turn.

While the headline us misleading (13 of those times were for parking violations), I am stunned a 77-year-old can still have a CDL.
