“Incorrectly quotes” is a new, daring euphemism for “lies.”

I heard the interview, Clapper did not say that. He did try to make the point that it was the agency’s responsibility to protect our elections from foreign interference. I would think all Americans would support this.

All Trump does is lie. It is so ridiculous but no one from the #GOP calls him on it.

James Clapper should sue @realDonaldTrump ; Trump should not be allowed to make false statements about people w/out suffering the consequences...does he realize that FOR SURE when he leaves the presidency...he's going to be DROWNING in lawsuits; probably go bankrupt again

I don't know if Clapper is on Twitter but he should let the truth be known and demand that Fox News report that Trump told a blatant lie.

Ffs just for once say it as it is: he LIED. All i see is the media doing this time after time. Stop it and dare to tell the exact truth, for we all know why trump is doing this.

You're getting warmer, but just tell the truth - he lied. Euphemisms like "incorrectly quotes" are too cute by half.

unfortunately trumps lies seems to be working and lots of his base believes him and the others just don’t care that Trump is lying. I am Republican and I feel sick. I want my Republican Party back.
