In any other country she would be alive and he would get the care he needed. America will NEVER be great until we fix this. 😢

As for farmers genociding Aboriginal people, that happened in #Australia AND the #USA, and I didn't participate. I was raised by my family to be friends with Aboriginal people, and so I campaign for #LeftWing politics, to give back stolen land & other wealth to Aboriginal people.pic.twitter.com/3RBu2nVf4H

This is just pitiable. That as a country medical care must be crowdfunded.

That people have to beg and have some extraordinary story or be an extraordinary person to get the medical treatment they require is horrible. What if you're just an ordinary Joe?

You die. Because that's what people in our country have voted for and value. It's sick.

I see Americans that I follow saying that they pay half of what their rent is a month or $800 a month for health insurance, if they can even afford it, and it boggles my mind.

Some people pay so much more than that and then they still have to pay even more when they actually go to the doctor. And lots of those insurance plans don't cover very much at all. It's a disgrace!

I'll tell you straight up, we may pay a little more in taxes up here but it isn't THAT much more. Not even close. Our taxes are actually very comparable to the US and we get a lot more bang for our buck.

The fact that people claim we can’t have universal health care because “look at the high taxes in other countries” always gets me. If we as a country actually allocated our taxes where we needed them, and had appropriate health care laws, we, too could have universal health care.

Yes! And it would be less than what we're paying for insurance now. It's so frustrating.

Have people tried telling conservatives that universal healthcare is technically a form of crowdfunding ?
