"The way the administration was talking a month ago, it was like all of a sudden there was going to be a fairy tale ending," said an expert on North Korea. "But we all know there are no fairy tale endings when it comes to North Korea."https://nyti.ms/2IFYAtF

The victory tour was ridiculously premature to keep the base drooling and pliant, and Trump happy with TV ratings. In reality, Trump finds himself in a much worse bind than previous presidents. I don’t see N. Korea giving up its nukes without astronomical concessions. Or at all.

We negotiates Kim we'll probably have him give up our nukes

Haha, yeah, maybe. Probably just more nukes for everyone. Non-proliferation as a cause is just about dead with this series of short sighted actions that ensure the disintegration of efforts, standing in the way of even the separate wills of Europe and Asia.

I don't have much of a memory I have early Parkinson's but I do remember that we dismantled some noobs and so did Russia our problem was what to do with the uranium in them we dumped ours in a big hole in the ground same thing will happen in North Korea if they do denuclearize

Israel has hundreds. Where's your anger about it? Double standards much? Rethorical question.

North Korea 50 years ago had will to invade South but gave up long time ago and lost its ability. South Korea is much more stronger than North. North Korea has no place to cast its power, surrounded by strong powers whereas Israel is expanding without limit.

That's not the point. The point is the principle. Demonizing Iran for having a nuclear program, (not weapons) and "forgetting" about the deception from Israel about their own and refusing to being inspected by international authorities. Hipocrisy is the point.

I know. The purpose of sanction is not denuclearization. It is the means of humiliation expecting counteraction which could be the reason of war. Like Iraq invasion.

Trump is one little man with a temporary job, while the man in N. Korea has a lifetime to work his plan. If you were a world leader, would you sit down with Trump & expect fair treatment or want to help him in any way? Trump wants fame & has only 2 1/2 years left (if that).
