"President Trump's negotiating playbook is by now pretty obvious: Start with a headline-grabbing demand, beat chest loudly, then accept whatever is actually practical and call it a win," @andrewrsorkin writeshttps://nyti.ms/2IGlYYg

Trump also does not understand the difference between negotiating an outcome vs. bullying an outcome. Negotiating results in “win/win” situations. Bullying results in fearful outcomes that don’t last and backfire.

This is not news. @realDonaldTrump has always conducted himself this way. I 1st learned of him in the late 1980's. Anyone with a brain & sense of decency had him pegged jiffy quick. #FollowTheMoney #MuellerKnows #TrumpColluded #TrumpRussia #RIPGOP #VoteBlueNoMatterWho #Resist

@realDonaldTrump serves at the pleasure of his woefully over inflated ego...and his bank accounts. Full stop.

The @nytimes playbook is equally obvious - give Trump whatever headline he wants, then accept no responsibility.
