The differences between the fallout from the Florida and the Texas school shootings begins with the communities where they occurred. Guns are hard-wired into the Texas's psyche.https://nyti.ms/2x03ITX

Over a 190 countries in the world and only US high schoolers feel the need to shoot up their schools every now and then. This country has a problem, and trust me, it ain’t just bullying or mental health.

I live here. Santa Fe is a small rural town completely different than big city of Houston, meaning very conservative, very pro gun and very pro Trump.

Texas, where the government does everything it can to keep you from getting an abortion so your kid can be shot to death in a school instead.

If Texans don't care if their children are murdered, I guess the rest of us should just not worry about it.

You mean violence and hatred are hard-wired into the Texas psyche. The gun is just the tool used to accomplish the task at hand. Stop blaming the gun and start holding humans accountable for their actions.

Also it seems to be the girl’s fault she was shot. If she was just nicer to her stalker. Common sense gun laws make gun owners more responsible. It’s only a misdemeanor to not properly store a gun. Maybe the father would have locked his guns up if it was a felony

What ? She said no to get advances .. what else was she supposed to do? Give up so that the person might not become a shooter ?1

The guns are not the problem - this coming from someone who is ( not) a gun owner - it's the person holding the gun - our pornstar loving degenerate acting president signed a bill making it easier for nuts to buy guns - it's his fault.

But if course if you limit the guns, the crazy people can't get them... You can't limit the humans, but objects of destruction should be fair game.

By the time possession is forbidden you can lock the ones up who don't want to give up their guns. Your students are going to fix this.

No it's common sense. You people already failed on your own children several times so your time is up and you should be ignored. As simple as that. They'll lock you up when possession is forbidden.
