Two things that should never be denied anyone, customer or not, use of the restroom and a glass/cup of water. We are human beings before we are commerce agents.

Mike, your retort was poorly drafted. Clearly there's a huge difference between a public store and Danny's residence.

There’s a thing on reddit from a while back about non-customers who move into Starbuck’s bathroom for sometimes around 30 minutes. I’m all for helping the homeless, but I do not think this is the way to do it. Salvation Army does great work in my area and I donate.

I think we have a problem in becoming way too reactive to things. How many minutes was it after guys at Starbucks we’re asked to leave that a boycott was being set up? I didn’t like the results of what happened, but I like to look for a pattern of behavior before taking action.

White customers have publically stated that they have sat in the store without ordering anything. Dealing with folks like you is like trying to bargain with smoke.

Well that’s nice. Only thing is if as a paying customer getting a coffee or whatever and there’s a bunch people sitting but not drinking or eating and there’s no place for me a to sit I’m gonna leave and go somewhere else.

Talk about a knee jerk reaction to a non-story. Complete bowing down to the Liberal mob.

So now we can’t sit there if we buy because there will be no space available. It’s like the public park with homeless people. Makes no business sense.

Maybe they can offer steep discounts for customers who order their products to go. Either that or kill the free WiFi to chase away the college kids.
