Venezuela is falling apart and President Maduro is deeply unpopular, yet he’s still expected to win Sunday’s election. Here's why.https://nyti.ms/2IAF15S

There are not elections in Venezuela today. Venezuelans are not electing anyone or anything; it’s just a fraudulent voting operation without voters (no one is voting in protest). The narcoregime has everything ready yo announce tonight they won.

The second part of that statement is a lie though isn’t it. He’s not hugely unpopular at all.

Maduro; The United States wants it because it defends the country against capitalism and the bourgeoisie. Those who can not control Maduro have declared him a dictator. Maduro does not want to allow US companies to exploit the resources of their country.

How trustworthy is the NYT regarding Venezuela? (since they have different "standards" regarding certain topics).

Don't believe many even think this is a legitimate election. Unfortunately the only ones to suffer are the exact same people Maduro is cheating over: the Venezualian people.

No, idiot, I mean rigging elections as in setting up an electoral fraud. Read the book by the main deflector Leamsy Salazar, privileged witness of everything.
