So how many US residents will actually do something about it ?? Write to Governments, have petitions signed, organize events with media, & maybe elect a president that actually cares about the people !

Congress writes the law. What exactly would you have had them draft to stop this killer? He used a shotgun. Liberals have been saying for years how they just want to ban scary assault rifles. He stole the shotgun from his dad. Background checks wouldn't have done jack

But the population elects the president that controls congress! Unfortunately, everyone needs to put pressure, that’s the only way things will change... I do hope that people will stop being negative & help to change through actions & more knowledge😊

Banning doesn’t work? Well, we won’t know if we don’t try. Our kids are worth the effort. There is no role in our society for semi-automatic weapons with high capacity magazines or bump stocks.

The right of our children to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness will always supersede your right to ownership of totally unnecessary weapons under this Constituion. And if you believe otherwise, then you are part of the problem.

Taking away my rights does nothing to protect your children. Human beings have been murdering one another since the dawn of man. 80 people were mowed down by a truck in Nice France. You don't have a clue what you are talking about or how to protect our schools.

You can survive without your guns. Ban semi-autos, high capacity magazines and bump stocks to start. They serve NO PURPOSE in a civilized society.

None of the above were used in Santa Fe. It's a farce. No serious politician is proposing we ban the sale of semi auto guns. There are 300 million in circulation. That isn't a solution. It's a joke. A scam by spineless politicians looking to campaign on the graves of kids

And yes, semi auto guns are used for self defense every day. It doesn't fit the medias narrative so they ignore the lives that are saved.

Let’s start by teaching respect for each other, and that breaking the rules/laws have consequences right from the beginning. Enforce the laws we have, yes some change is needed, like bump stocks need to be gone. Politicians need to get off the party deal and do for the country!
