They still charged us £30M for the day. The rest is pretty academic. When that much privilige is at stake, let's not give them garlands just yet for allowing a few cosmetic changes. Like political parties they have to steer a broad appeal in order to extract the revenue.

The Royal Family don’t need to be “nudged”—led by the Queen they have always adapted proactively to the ever changing world.

The Royal family do not need to be brought into a new era. When America reaches the pinnacle of multiculturalism that is the British Commonwealth (an invention of the present monarch and her father) then perhaps we will see America stop judging everyone by the color of their skin

didn't she walk the aisle by herself bc her dad was recovering from heart problems? i don't really know if it was for the intention of being a feminist motion since apparently she asked prince charles to walk her

Prince Charles walked her part of the way. She walked the last part alone, reflecting that she is a grown woman. Feminism? I don’t know. A woman can be independent and still welcome assistance.

This #RoyalWedding is MUCH needed. Not just for the monarchy but it stands as a stark contrast to the raging injustices and ignorance in the world today. I am very happy for the incredibly adorable couple.
