Are parents really paying attention to their children? Children learn how to make bombs on the internet. Shouldn't a parent have control of what a child under 18 is watching?Government will not allow parents to discipline children. Government responsible should pay restitution.

When every workplace is required to have regular active shooter drills like the schools do maybe we adults will finally vote for reasonable gun regulations.

Want more gun control? Just remember that your "gun control laws" made this crisis successful by creating a Gun Free Zone where our kids gather in large numbers undefended. Protect our children like a politician or money in an armored truck! With arms nearby.

Who should have had guns? The students? The school had armed guards. Also, Texas allows for school districts to decide whether or not teachers can be armed so schools are not necessarily gun-free zones.

Believe it or not, students did have their firearms at school with them. Guess what... There wasn't any shootings back then. Anyways... Anyone that can pass a background check should be allowed to carry anywhere they want. Criminals don't submit a check before they carry.

You claimed schools are gun-free zones, but as I pointed out, that’s not necessarily true. You also ignored that there was armed security. Not to mention, one doesn’t necessarily have to pass a background check to own a gun. Are you calling for universal background checks?

I probably glossed over the armed security because there's little mention of it and I wonder if they were on patrol or in an office. As far as background checks, no level of check would have affected this because the guns belonged to the parents.

You’re the one who said that anyone with a background check should be able to carry. As I said, background checks are not necessarily required to own a gun. Answer the question- do you think they should be? Also, what about safe storage laws? Do you support those?

Uh oh, you better watch out. You might get labeled as a “gun grabber” for supporting such measures. 😉 The truth is, most people agree on these issues, yet the NRA fights them which is why I don’t support the NRA. #NoRA
