Trump accused the FBI of sending a spy to secretly infiltrate his campaign “for political purposes." In fact, the FBI sent an informant to talk to 2 campaign advisers only after receiving evidence that the pair had suspicious contacts tied to Russia.https://nyti.ms/2KCwFaE

So this plus the story from the Washington Post basically say the FBI was protecting Trump…why would they protect him from Russia if he was colluding??? Which story is it now, was he colluding or was he a victim of a Russian sting? Can’t be both.pic.twitter.com/0q1C00dCb2

If Trump was Colluding with Russia..... Then 1- why was FBI sending in spies to "protect" Trump 2- why never tell Trump 3- why try for a whole year to impeach him w/Mueller The Logic here.....is a bit of a stretch, @nytimespic.twitter.com/abMai6tH6o

An FBI “informant” is a *spy*. So yes the FBI sent a spy into the Trump campaign. And now you are shamelessly & desperately trying to justify the Obama Adm spying on a political opponent.

Because he wasn’t spied on. FBI obtained evidence that 2 campaign officials were in contact with Russians. Sent informant (lawfully) to investigate Papadopolas and Page not Trump. According to Trump, those coffee boys played small, insignificant role in campaign.

The evidence was made up by the FBI operatives to get into the campaign. Just as the fake dossier was used to FISA warrants to listen in on Trump Tower. Trump right again!

The defense of this is gross already. They all lied. They said they never spied on Trump. You laughed at Trump for suggesting it. Now we find out it was worse than wiretapping. They were paying secret informants. This isn’t normal. Stop normalizing it.
