LeBron James has saved the Cavaliers before, and surely he’ll do it again against the Celtics, right? Our NBA columnist @TheSteinLine says nope.https://nyti.ms/2LdYPtO

I am with @TheSteinLine. Even The Great LeBron likely cannot drag this listless (pathetic?) group over the line to the NBA Finals

I’m gonna laugh when it’s 2-2 going back to Boston, & the narrative is completely different.

Lebron couldn't save a better cavs team twice in the finals and a much better miami team another 2 times. Even his miraculous come back from 3-1 against GS was nothing but absolute luck. So dont even dream of the cavs surviving this One.

Jordan has 6 Rings and 6 Finals MVP's in 6 Finals appearances. I'm a big fan of LeBron, but he isn't in the same class as Jordan. Read the first sentence again if you don't understand why. Or, you know, just watch tape of Jordan playing.

        1. The reason he won't save the Cavs in this series is because he's not as good as Jordan. So it does have to do with Jordan. 2. At this point, the only thing interesting about LeBron is figuring out where he ranks among the all-time greats. Playoff results are the best measure.

The Buffalo Bills "made" four straight Super Bowls. You cannot be serious.

Again, I said "results." Losing in your last game or series is not a good result. In the NBA, there have been many years where there is only one good team in a given conference. Getting to the Finals may be the first time that team's weaknesses get exposed.

If Toronto became LeBronto, does Cleveland become Steveland, because Brad Stevens?

I agree. Brad Stevens is too good of a coach and the Celtics are too disciplined defensively. The Cavs have no one outside of LeBron and they can’t play defense to save their lives. It’s over. Whether it’s in four or five. It’s done.

They will win the third but lose the fourth. Then Boston will take it at home in 5
