And because the shooter was white, you add some lines to make excuses for him. “He was on honor roll.” “He was such a good kid, I never expected this.” He’s an American terrorist. Stop giving him any amount of sympathy.

Maybe they added that in there because he was on honor roll and because he was viewed as a good kid.

Can we get out of the habit of posting the name and picture of the shooter? By not giving them media attention we stop giving these maniacs their 15 minutes of fame.

I don’t think any of them do this to get famous. They do it bc they’re sick in the head and we have the most lax gun laws in the world.

There’s actually a ton of evidence that suggests that plastering their name and images all over does in fact encourage more school shootings. Media has had coverage guidelines for suicides for years for the same reason. It’s not a primary motivation, but it is an influence

Dimitrios Pagourtzis is only 17 years old. He is filled with so much rage & hate; it was enough for him to go on a killing spree that killed 10 people and wounded an additional 10. Note to Trump; this is Domestic Terrorism and they are not wrapped in brown or black skin!

I'm sorry, maybe a judgement call on my part, but people, why are guns that you own accessible to your children? I apologize again, but 17 year olds do not do their own laundry usually, a "born to kill" t-shirt & my under age child's room, in my house, is not off limits to me.

Here's a question, should/will the father (the legal owner of the weapons used) be charged and tried alongside his son? As the legal owner, it is his responsibility to store and control access and use of his weapons. Does liability (criminal & civil) fall to him? If not, why?

I'm perfectly OK if a deep red state wants to "experiment" with universal gun ownership, guns carried openly by every resident who is legally able. I mean this seriously. If that state becomes the safest place in the world, then you've proved us gun control folks wrong.

How many mass shootings happen in Europe, Israel, Canada, Australia, or Japan?

I totally agree with you, but apparently for gun owners, the rest of the world does not exist. Might as well give their nihilistic universal gun ownership mania a try (not in my state, of course, because I'd rather not die) and see what happens.
