A haunting question remains after a well-liked family was found at the center of a series of deadly terror attacks in Indonesia: How could the conspirators have done this to their own children?https://nyti.ms/2L7v7qh

The family returned to Indonesia from Syria, among 500 Indonesians returning from Syria with ties to the Islamic State. National spokesman said they were members of Jamaah Ansharut Daulah, a network of about two dozen Indonesian groups affiliated with the Islamic State.

Thank you for your coverage. The Indonesian killings haven't received much coverage in the US. Don't sweeten up the story by making 90% of it about how they lived in a multicultural neighborhood. That's exactly what this family didn't like. They blew up several churches.
