Clinics that provide abortions or refer patients to places that do would lose federal funding under a new Trump administration rule that takes direct aim at Planned Parenthood, according to three administration officialshttps://nyti.ms/2KyN3Ja

Great news! Those of us who believe in the sanctity of life and who oppose our tax dollars being used to fund any organization that performs abortions welcome this decision.

I support Pro Life and universal health care. And access to adoptions. I don't see why you can't be both

You realize this cuts funding for healthcare. It's saying if your doctors office somewhere down the hall provides an abortion, even if you're there for something completely unrelated, that office would lose funding.

No, I think safe abortions are awesome. A modern miracle that has saved countless women's lives in the US, whereas globally annually over 22k women die from unsafe access. I don't think backalley coat hangers are acceptable options and no sane person does either.

If only twitter had a way of not letting people comment without verifying they read the article. These idiots don't understand it undercuts funding to doctors and hospitals if they even refer to abortions. That could be your own doctor or hospital.

It blows my mind how such a large group of people can boil something down to be about one thing they don't like and are willing to take away life saving resources to themselves to stop someone else from having an abortion.

Geez I wish I got to pick and choose what my tax dollars pay for. And why is it that a single religion gets to dictate laws for the rest of the country? War on Christianity? Really? I think it's the other way around.

I agree. For starters all churches should pay taxes, none of my tax dollars should be used for wars or supporting "friendly allies or bases around the world. Never 10.4 million per day to support Israel

Read Jerimiah 1:5, God creates every child. They are not just fetus, they are tiny creations of our Heavenly Father. Ever woman who submits themself to abortion is committing murdee along with the doctor and staff that perform it.

What if someone else’s religion disagrees with yours? This isn’t the dark ages. We don’t base laws on religion.

Judaism differs from Christianity in that it doesn’t believe life begins at conception. Also, some of us can make our own decisions regardless of what religion tells us, and some of us can mind our own business and let people navigate this difficult life the best way they see fit
