The U.S. has been living through one of the longest declines in fertility in decades. Demographers are trying to figure out what is driving it.https://nyti.ms/2KzhNd7

Well I don’t know about the fertility rate right now, but personally, I wouldn’t want to bring up a child in today’s world. Glad those days are behind me. Feel sorry for kids today.

The Congress mistake is they will kill off children by starving them, no insurance and then worry about the workforce. There will come a time and they need taxpayers to do the work and pay. The top 1% whine like babies and don’t pay their fair share.Thieves.

So abortion rates fell dramatically during the Obama administration - that's great! But it doesn't shed light on the continued decline in birth rates.

My point is that fertility rates will always be affected by however many abortions have occurred.

Right, but your numbers show abortions going down while births also go down. So the falling abortion rates don't help us understand why the birth rates have been falling. (But one could infer that access to contraception and education is working better, less unplanned pregnancy.)

Hundreds of things have been shown to affect birth rate from weather to the economy. What I would imagine is being done here is a justification of high immigration numbers
