Trump’s America ― Too scared to have babies. It’s a fact.

Well I don’t know about the fertility rate right now, but personally, I wouldn’t want to bring up a child in today’s world. Glad those days are behind me. Feel sorry for kids today.
-
The Congress mistake is they will kill off children by starving them, no insurance and then worry about the workforce. There will come a time and they need taxpayers to do the work and pay. The top 1% whine like babies and don’t pay their fair share.Thieves.

I think it’s the fact that we all have to look at Trump’s face every day

Bringing children into this chaos is something more people are weighing carefully?

Definitely

Also below I’ll add an article called ‘Abortion Fast Facts’ by CNN Library ...pic.twitter.com/bFEPiDyYNE
-
So abortion rates fell dramatically during the Obama administration - that's great! But it doesn't shed light on the continued decline in birth rates.
-
My point is that fertility rates will always be affected by however many abortions have occurred.
-
Right, but your numbers show abortions going down while births also go down. So the falling abortion rates don't help us understand why the birth rates have been falling. (But one could infer that access to contraception and education is working better, less unplanned pregnancy.)
-
Hundreds of things have been shown to affect birth rate from weather to the economy. What I would imagine is being done here is a justification of high immigration numbers
-
What part of the article are you basing that conclusion on?
-
I think we are just sharing our views. I know I am

True I'm just extra careful of what I put out there cos not long ago I got hurt for lack of
#Support in the#SoapOperaNetwork & near got past acct suspended for being blocked 3 times just for disagreements etc. I'm so sorry just proceeding with caution that's all! MerryBells1276 - 1 more reply

could it be the fact that it’s crazy expensive to have a baby in the us and women get basically zero support?? -
Guess how much out of pocket to have a bub (prenatal care and birth) in Australian public system? $0. Oh probably parking fees at the hospital

My guess is that with the state of the current administration, 'the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.'

Massive student loan debt combined with wages that have been stagnating for decades. Next question.
