Democrats like Gov. Jerry Brown of California and Kamala Harris, the state attorney general before becoming a U.S. senator, refused to allow newly available DNA testing that might finally resolve the question of who committed the murders https://nyti.ms/2KzcavA pic.twitter.com/X0jOBuaVEH

“I’m frameable, because I’m an uneducated black man in America,” said Kevin Cooper, who lives on death row in San Quentin Prison. He has a message for Gov. Jerry Brown. https://nyti.ms/2KzcavA pic.twitter.com/qfTb8HtVPm

Just do the damn test! Stop being politicians and do the right thing! Are you afraid of finding the truth? What say you @JerryBrownGov and @SenKamalaHarris? You can't say this is a hit piece when a life is at stake! #Asimpletest

FACT: I lived in California in 1983. Word within the law enforcement community was the boy who survived told investigators that three Mexicans had committed the murders. There were rumors of a coverup 35 years ago...

ADD: people who lived in Southern California at that time did not believe for a minute that only one man had committed that crime. It just wasn’t physically possible.

Makes me cringe guessing how many (mostly black men) have been framed & died in jail or executed. 100? 500? 5000? 1 is too many. #NoDeathPenalty #CivilizedSocietiesDontKill

Really disappointed to see @JerryBrownGov and @SenKamalaHarris have both played key roles in blocking the DNA testing. Both could partially atone by acting now.
