The death of a Palestinian baby during the protests in Gaza became a rallying cry for critics of Israel. Within hours, the family's story was being questioned.https://nyti.ms/2wLif61

Take your child to work day in Gaza turned out so well. Maybe next time they won't bring their children to riots.

For good reason! Baby was born with heart condition and her mom brought her to the border combat zone. Who is to blame here? Her mother, #hamas, #turkey, #iran

I would love to know what kind of parent brings their baby (with a serious pre-existing medical condition!!) to a border riot. Regardless of how she died, the baby’s presence there was remarkably irresponsible.

@nytimes your bias is showing. Causally talking about an illegal 10 year embargo of Gaza as the people don’t deserve the decency of self franchise tips the hat that they aren’t equal to Israel or Americans

He said he was in green. In contrast to the other medics who were in orange. And you dont know what he was holding when he got shot. Also, he's a Palestinian with Canadian citizenship. So its not like he is a tall white blond Canadian that sticks out and is easily recognized.

Do you guys ever report on how these people kill their own children for their “cause?” Or report on how Israel actually provides medicine and care for their them? If these people were smart they would stop trying to push Israelis out.

If Israelis killed crèches of Palestinian babies on a daily basis, the usual suspects would questioned whether the story was true. Contrariwise, if Palestianians killed Israeli babies, the usual suspects would all shuffle their feet and inspect their fingernails.

Did she know it was violent at the time? Did she know that she would be shot dead for protesting?
