They need to find factories that can sew proper clothes that fit the average woman cause we are NOT overweight!

Well, to be fair, in the countries where these clothes are made, most of us would be considered 'fat'.

Unlike the Western world, those countries have affordable alternatives to fast food, so people there will balance their diets better. Also, obesity is mostly caused by us sitting on our ass everywhere, every day (work, school, public transport, car, couch), instead of diet.

Hmm, so a private company wants to charge more for the plus size clothes on their own store... That is absurd! How can they name the price of their OWN product? My God! The Iron Lady is missed.

No one is saying they can't do it. They're simply being criticized for doing it. Consumers have that right, as well as the right to shop elsewhere.

Oh yeah, I know. But a company charging more for large sizes should not be criticized. Cabelas charge $7.99 for their 3XL shirts, while all other sizes are $5.99 Is that just covering the cost of material or charging fattys more just 'cause?

I think the issue is that it's note done consistently. There's a huge difference in size between a size 2 and a size 14, yet only size 16 and above costs more.

It does take less material to make smaller clothes. And if I ever lose weight I would appreciate the fairness of that fact. Could be incentive to lose weight if that were how it was priced.

More fabric = more cost for the company to produce. Seems fair to charge more. It’s no different for charging more for a 50" TV than you do a 20".

I'm fine with stores charging more for larger sizes, but they need to do it consistently – a size 8 should cost more than a size 6, which should cost more than a size 4, etc. And the same should apply to men's clothes.

Doesn't it have to do with the amount of fabric used? Like a 5 ft. rug might be $200, but the same rug at 10 ft is is $300. I don't think they're saying your floor should lose weight.

A large take-out soda costs more than a small one because it consists of more syrup, more soda water, and more cup material. Restaurants aren't being mean. They are trying to price a soda relative to its cost. Example: A size 22 dress can use a yard more fabric than a size 6
